
OSI buys land near Trembleau Mountain

The Open Space Institute has purchased a 37-acre property alongside the state-owned Trembleau Mountain in Chesterfield near Lake Champlain.
The only independent, nonprofit news organization solely dedicated to reporting on the Adirondack Park.
Through its news reporting and analysis, the nonprofit Adirondack Explorer furthers the wise stewardship, public enjoyment for all, community vitality, and lasting protection of the Adirondack park.

The Open Space Institute has purchased 2,229 acres in the eastern Adirondacks and intends to eventually sell it to the state, the nonprofit announced Monday.
