THIS ASSESSMENT MAKES ALL THE POINTS THE ADIRONDACK COUNCIL PROMULGATES.

IN A FREE MARKET ECONOMY, THE PEOPLE WHO WERE BORN AND RAISED IN THE ADIRONDACKS, SURVIVE IN A ECONOMIC SYSTEM, THAT HURTS THEM.

The APA needs to be gotten rid of completely or at the very least all the top Brass thrown out and re-staffed with people who aren’t playing politics. My father applied for a permit to build a dock based on a DEC design. The DEC approved the project but the APA denied it citing it didn’t fit with the Mater Plan. The thing is though it fit the Master Plan for that area perfectly. Its rediculous that you need the APA and DEC approval to get a permit to build on private property. This reduces building projects and hurts the local economy.
