An Adventure in the Five Ponds Wilderness

In late September, Explorer Publisher Tracy Ormsbee and I joined Sam Eddy for a bushwhack into the Five Ponds Wilderness. Eddy is the trail master for the Adirondack 46ers and was featured in the Trailblazer column in the November/December issue of the Explorer. The purpose of our trip was to visit the Sand Lake lean-to, which Eddy maintains as a volunteer.
