Above are some photo highlights from the month of October when we were working on a pair of school stories. One involved a school merger involving students from Westport, Elizabethtown and Lewis that will appear in an upcoming issue of the Explorer. The other images appeared in the most recent issue of the Explorer as we wrote about challenges that Paul Smith’s College is facing and how it’s overcoming them. Our staff also took a trip to the Lake Champlain region to photograph snow geese, which migrate south from the Arctic at this time of the year. Check out the gallery above to see all of the images.
