Scenes from the 2018 Wilmington Whiteface Mountain bike race

In the May issue of the Explorer, Alan Wechsler writes about competing in the the Wilmington Whiteface 100-kilometer (62-mile) bike race last June. The race goes from the base of Whiteface Mountain to Elizabethtown and back. It is a qualifier for the Leadville 100, a famous mountain bike race that is set in the Colorado Rockies. Above are some photos I took of the 2018 Wilmington Whiteface competition.
