Twenty years ago, the Noonmark Fire burned about 90 acres on a site that can be found off the Bear Den Trail. In mid-September, Explorer writer Tim Rowland and I visited the site with SUNY Plattsburgh professor Mark Lesser and his students for a piece that appeared in the November-December issue of the Explorer.
